Hi everyone!

My name is Karolina and I am behind this blog. A 32-year-old 'everyday dreamer', happy wife and a mum of two. I started The Happy Me Now in 2020, wanting to have space where I can express myself and collect all of my thoughts in one place. Back when I was a child, I used to write everything on paper but hey! Times changed. 

For 6 years I used to be known as a "mum and a housewife" but finally I got the power inside of me and refused to be JUST a mum. I still have my dreams, and my goals and some of them are egoistic enough to call them just MINE. When I was 30 I finally started my degree in Film&Media studies with the Japanese language at Birkbeck University. So it is never to late to make small changes in your life when you want to! Since that time I have grown more courage to chase my goals and dreams.

My passion is photography, fashion and travelling. I am a children photographer for a while now. I dream about creating a successful carrier in general portrait type photography in the near future. My passion for photography started after I gave birth and realised that I cannot afford a proper photographer to capture my kids. Instead of that, I grabbed my basic Canon 600D and the rest was history. You can check my work in "ACHIEVEMENT" category, where I share a mini portfolio with you.

While this is my main topic, I love fashion and travelling as it lets me express myself even more. I dream to show my kids the whole world one day.

I am originally from Poland and moved to Ireland when I was 19. Stayed there for almost 7 years and then moved to the UK, where I met my husband. He is the best supportive person ever and has a big tolerance towards my sometimes random ideas. He needs to deal with my constantly growing book collection too.
